The book that I am readimg is called cirqu du freak trials of blood. The main character darren has to go through these trials tha are randomly picked out of (originally 60 but many were taken away because of his height and the fact that he was half vampier. He has to do the trials of death because the vampier princes thinks mr.crepsley (he teaches Darren everything he is suppose to know about the vampier life.) is crazy for blooding a child. Long ago vampiers were all the same a when very dangerous vampiers did not like the new rule that every group of vampiers have to have general so they broke away from the vampire clan and created there own clan called the vampeneze.
The vampire clan has brains and will but the vampeneze have power. They are just crazy vampires that have no rules and do what the want when they want. They are the biggest threat to the human and vampire racist. They basically kill anything that moves. When Darren,mr.crepsley, and harkatt ( harkatt is a small person that was once a vampeneze lord. Was turned into a lil person by mr. Tiny. Mr. Tiny is a very evil guy that has the power of turning dead people into a living breathing vampire. He uses that to his advantage) even though the odds are stacked against the vampire clan they just keep fighting.
That brings me back to the trial that Darren has to do because he has to prove to the princes that mr.crepsley was not wrong for blooding him. (the princes think it's wrong to blood a kid because they feel they need strong people)
I can't wait to find out what happens in the trials......
i feel like you could have elaborated more on small details, and explain what you mean. I also think you should work on the craft of this passage, and/or work on saying what you think instead of re-telling the story. But i like how a the end, you brang up a meaningful thought
