I'm going to retell the that I'm currently reading: the 39 clues. As Dan Amy and dans friend that he never actually met Atticus and Atticus brother go to the colosseum to find a clue that they have reason to believe. Atticus and his brother don't know why Dan and Amy wanted to go the colosseum they just maybe it was a weird fascination. Atticus being a genius shows Dan and Amy the colosseum after a wait that took hours to get in. Jack Atticus's brother wanted to leave cause he felt they been there so much he feels he knows every inch of it. Amy and Dan were pretty interested in what Atticus had to say but after a 30 minutes Dan got a little anxious and faded away from Amy Atticus and jack once he noticed a map. And hey what do you know the map looked just like the snakes in the medusa painting. After convincing Atticus's brother that he wanted to go see the underground tunnels of the colosseum once he got the go ahead Dan and Atticus shot straight to the entrance of the underground tunnels.
Dans photographic memory helped him Reiner where to go. The only question he had is how is he supposed to know we're the x mark of the map is supposed to be. He discussed it with Amy and he came to the conclusion that is was probably were the 2 snakes bit each other. So Dan led the way. Him running and Amy just as anxious hot on his heels running with him.
After a while of running they came up to a sign that said do not enter. Dan read the sign and just kept going. Because being in a clue hunt Dan and Amy were previously in do not enter was always the place they were supposed to enter. Atticus did not like the idea of going because he was afraid that the tunnels might collapse on him, but after a convincing Atticus, Atticus then had to convince his brother but as jack and his little brother argued with one and nother Dan took this as a way to leav them. They did not feel like ditching them in a tunnel in the dark was wrong because they did not want to put them in harms way for there own selfish reasons. I can't wait to find out what treasures are under the colosseum I'm thinking maybe a battle axe.....
